The Wish Collective
Every star holds a wish. Together, they make a sky full of hope, and a whole community rooting for every wish to come true. There is power in putting a wish into the world. When we share our hopes and put our energy behind each other's wishes, we can all believe in what's possible!
A Painting Made of Wishes
The Wish Collective is a piece of art holding the collective wishes of a group of people. Each participant gets a piece of my hand printed gelli paper, and they are then invited to draw a star while holding a wish in their mind.
I then gather every star and collage them into a night sky. Beneath the sky I paint a landscape that belongs to the people it's for: their home, their mountain, the place they met. The finished piece is one painting, holding every wish that was made for it.
Then, once the final piece is ready, every participant gets a link to get their own print of the piece. And the idea is, every time you see the sky full of wishes, you send positive energy towards it, wishing that ALL the wishes come true. And everyone else is doing the same. I wish for you, you wish for me, let's see what the power of positive energy can do!
